Atelier Versace Couture 2015! Why do I say 1980’s meets 2016? Every trend that has been fad over the years have now rolled into this Haute Couture collection. Atelier Versace Couture 2015 has added more blued out colors for this year’s Haute Couture Fashion Show.
As I was taking notes, the first fad brought back is the bell sleeves. At the very end, the designer herself was wearing bell sleeve incorporated outfit. I have not only seen it in this runway show, but I have also seen it being incorporated in denim this year.
The bell sleeves was a very 80’s trend. Second fad brought back was the intricate beading and sparkles. In most of Versace’s silhouettes, sparkles and beading have been highly incorporated. Utilizing the pendulum swing, the go-go boots have been used as the main shoe for most of their collection. Thicker heels will be back for the Fall/Winter since the stiletto heel was used for the Spring/Summer.
Most of these popular fads are brought back from the 1980’s. From the 1990s-2000s, Goth style was the most talked about trend during this era. The black silhouettes walked down for Versace definitely had the Goth meets Modern Fashion. She incorporated dark florals, minimal sparkles and intricate cuts to her silhouettes.
Going through the timeline, Greek inspiration was the next trend that took the fashion industry by storm. Versace’s long silhouettes brought back the Greek Goddess inspiration while fusing blued out colors that are perfect for the Fall. Traveling down more in the time line reaching the 2012’s, pastel colors was the next huge trend for the Spring to adding more color.
A journey through the timeline from the 1980-2016 has been the main focus for Atelier Versace Fall/Winter collection. Everything from colors, silhouettes, and inspirations have made this collection pop out for the Fall-Winter.
See the heavier 80's influence in the Versace Spring Summer Couture Collection!
See the 2014 Collection, which in our opinion was even more becoming! As the first collection when Versace was re-admitted as a Haute Couture House officially!
