For what most overlook is that the people that associate in the circles of the people that wield the power and influence the world changing ideas are less estranged.

The theory that we have is that Charles knew one way or the other that he would have the world of fashion at his fingertips in all of it's power of influence, and he had one of those ahhhaaaa moments, and it occurred to him, why didnt everyone do this earlier. Then so the modern runway as we know it was brought into the mainstream world.

For me the London based ingenuity, given the right Parisian platform during the right political climate, with the hunger and ambition of a driven designer working his way up from the nothing ashes of his families financial decline. This is a recipe for a game changing series of events!


What set Worth apart from the countless designers in similar circumstances, with creative flare, vision, and a hunger drive for success?

It has much to do with family ties and linage in the world of luxury goods and the creative arts.

What is most impressive about the ascension of the House of Worth is that he was even more creative about his promotion than even his designs. Making his passion the perfect vehicle for a world changing trend!
